He came to the United States his senior year in high school, finished at Northwestern High, then attended and graduated Erskine College with a degree in psychology.  Mr. Kim’s passion is in reforming education, to optimize the learning/teaching process, and to help the children discover their maximum potential so that they grow up to flourish as leaders of the society. He dreams of one day establishing an orphanage with similar educational philosophies as Freedom Montessori. Mr. Kim is beginning his Montessori training through the North American Montessori Center.  He enjoys reading, doing magic tricks for the children, playing soft jazz on the guitar and piano, and cooking.

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is costly, care for it. Life is wealth, keep it. Life is love, enjoy it. Life is a mystery, know it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.” -Mother Teresa
